Is there such a thing as too much salt?

Yes, especially if you are dehydrated.

Salt page 24 in the Master Plan: After a few days of proper hydration, start with 1⁄4 teaspoon - 1⁄2 teaspoon of salt. Start slow (listen to your body) and work up to 1⁄2 teaspoon salt in the morning and evening before bed. (Only if you are hydrating correctly and not on any medications.)
As you use the bathroom more often, you will be flushing out fat in large quantities and
hydrating your body like never before. So drink up! (Make sure there is adequate salt intake.)
